Priestly Ordination is a Gift from God, given to his people. God made man to love, and to serve him here on earth and eventually meet him in Heaven. Its is in this spirit that we freely chose to serve God in the humble capacity of priesthood as a service rendered to God and his people. We daily offer sacrifice of the Mass at the Holy Altars of the Lord, asking for the forgiveness of the sins of those we ladder to God and those of our own. Hebrews 2:17 states that Jesus had to become like his brothers in every way, meaning he had to experience life as a human being, including weaknesses and temptations.
